9 Gallon auxiliary fuel tank fitted over the winter of 2011 / 2012 - with (4) internal cross baffles.
Fuel
filter and pump are both quick-change, and the pump is readily available at NAPA stores nationwide. This
tank was designed and built using 3/16" aluminum, and coated with spray-on bedliner material.
Dry
weight of the tank is about 18 Lbs, and is secured to the rear deck plate with (6) 1/2" SS bolts.
Even
full of fuel, the bike is able to be lifted onto the center stand very easily.
This
GS has a combined fuel capacity of approximately 14.15 gallons.
